This week, Karachi, Pakistan-based independent filmmaker Mohammad Imran Belaal was capturing pictures on the street when he noticed something peculiar: a stray dog wearing a sweater or “jersey.” Mohammad merely intended to snap a memorable snapshot, but what happened next made the event unforgettably memorable. The dog is fed by a homeless boy who also gives him his sweater to keep him warm.
“Last night in Bahdurabaad, I noticed a dog wearing a shirt. As I was trying to photograph it, a youngster yelling “Jaggu” approached, and the dog immediately went berserk upon spotting him. It was astounding since I had never seen a stray dog play so vigorously with a child who feeds him every day. He began to play with him.”
The child managed to keep his dog buddy warm on these chilly days despite without having the most basic luxuries, like a pair of shoes.
He smiled beautifully as he performed it.
People have been asking how to help the youngster and the dog after the picture went popular on social media.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by a photographer’s friend, Suhaib Jamal Nasir, where donations can be made to provide the boy and the dog with proper clothing, food, shelter, and medical care.
